Ana Gonzales bio

Ana Gonzalez de Jorgenson, an artist's daughter, born in Mexico, was born to a music-loving family. The majority of her childhood listening to classic music Boleros from the past, classic ranchero or romantic songs and classic classical music. Ana is an avid fan of Tangos. Also, she loves operas and any form theatrical performance. When she was 16 years old, she began singing and learning music with her mother. Flavio, a Mexican tenor of great renown began to give her more intense singing instruction. She studied in Guadalajara at the School of Music of University of Guadalajara as well as in Toluca at The School of Sacred Music. While a student, and when she was a professional young within Mexico City and Guadalajara she sang with several chamber groups and choirs. When she moved to America in the year 2000, she joined the United States in 2000, she joined the Fort Lauderdale Symphony Chorus before moving to her present residence in southern California. She currently performs the traditional Latin American songs at private concerts as a singer. Alongside being an active performer as well as an instructor the passion for music and art keeps her engaged in a wide range of initiatives. Ana was a former member of Community Chorus of Redlands (as being a member of the Inland Master Chorale) and Performance Loft. Ana is grateful to Inland Master Chorale members for allowing her to perform classic Latin American song.
